In a nutshell, I work with words!
I always have done. Ever since doing my journalism training in 1982-3.
I specialise in football interviews and features, people profiles, arts & culture, food and drink, and helping people, businesses and organisations tell their success stories.
I write commissioned pieces for the Lionesses’ (England Women’s football team) match day programmes, and I wrote the first ever book on the history of Torquay United FC.

Welcome to my website. I'm Laura, originally from Torquay but now living in Plymouth in the south west of England; a former BBC journalist with lots of experience and a keen eye for a great story.
